About Robin Layne’s Enterprises

Robin Layne has been picky about editing since her journalism days just out of high school and has sharpened her abilities in numerous writers’ critique groups throughout the years. Her formal editing training continued at Portland State University, where she was part of the staff of Ooligan Press. In March 2012, the university awarded her a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a minor in writing.

She then took the Professional Publishing course series from University of California, Berkeley, and received her certificate in August, 2013.

Robin officially started Robin Layne Enterprises in 2009 in Beaverton, Oregon. This version of writingthatsings.com was created April 2020 with the help of Cascadia Digital Collective.

Works remotely from Portland Metro area of Oregon.
